JINLAW TOWN HALL
Tuesday, July 20, 2026 | 5:30 – 7:30 pm ET

JINLAW’S Town Hall will feature an introduction to JINLAW, a mission update, and Q&A with special guest speaker Ruth Millman.

Ruth is a Polish-American child Holocaust survivor who frequently shares her story to educate younger generations. Born on July 16, 1938, in Warsaw, Poland, she survived Nazi atrocities due to her parents’ efforts to conceal her Jewish identity.

Ruth Millman

Ruth Millman is a child survivor of the Holocaust who was born in Warsaw, Poland.

She arrived as a refugee to the United States from a displaced persons camp with her parents and sister, growing up in New York and New Jersey.

As an accomplished entrepreneur, Mrs. Millman has run her own interior design firm, the Millman Design Group, for over forty years. As an active member of the community, she is the founder of the Women’s Division of the Jewish Federation for the Greater Red Bank Area and was appointed to the board of Family and Children’s Services of Monmouth County. Mrs. Millman is dedicated to Holocaust education and she was honored by the U.S. State Department in Washington for her educational service work with the Anti-Defamation League.

Her speeches have been recognized nationally and her story has reached thousands of students and members of numerous community organizations. Mrs. Millman served as part of the Holocaust and Hate Crime Commission for six years, appointed by the former governor of New Jersey, Christine Todd Whitman.

She is a member of the Speaker’s Bureau for Holocaust Education at Brookdale Community College.

Ruth currently resides in Shrewsbury, New Jersey with her husband Daniel, and is a mother of three and proud grandmother of six.
